A (Not So) White Affair

A friend of mine got engaged last week. She wanted all of her friends to wear white. But i didnt.

I bought a white dress a week before and its with the tailor until now. I went on that day to take it but to my horror, kedai tutup! I called the tailor and waited around 30mins in front of the shop going insane but in the end, balik dengan penuh hampa. I went again before the event and guess what, kedai tu still tutupT! WTH right? So much for saying you're coming in 30mins the first time i called you eh? I am never going back to your shop ever again.

That aside, my friend looked beautiful on that day. All of us had fun taking hundreds of photos, eating, 'cuci mata-ing' and gossiping. And i had my favorite cheese choc cake from Secret Recipe on my way that which made my night even better!

The makeup and deco is from D' Teruna Dara boutique from Kulim, which is her sister's boutique. And the food is from Chef Det CC Bistro, Kulim which is her dad's restaurant. How lucky is she to have all this? Unlike the rest of us, sighhh.

Enough babbling, checkout the photos below ...

As of today, i am banning my girlfriends from wearing white lace to my majlis tunang or akad nikah HIHIHI

I had a great weekend! Thanks to my darling friends!

Alwi's birthday was on Friday. Happy birthday you old monkey! Hope you liked the cupcakes! Selina liked it too much she ate 5-6 of 'em. So pretty so sayang nak makan but i am sure the boys had no problem at all biting off the fondant boobies HAHAHA.

Even with all the drama that went down after the party, i went home with a huge smile. I haven't had that kind of fun for so long, i am starting to feel so old ancient. And sleepover doing Gossip Girl marathon with my girls, how better can it get? Chuck on the verge of proposing to Blair, Chuck getting shot in Prague ... oh drama, drama, drama! I cried watching Chuck lying lifeless in the alley, sighhh. It was too painful to watch. I hope Chair will get back together next season. They're meant to be together, period.

And yesterday E wanted few things so we went to Gurney Plaza. He bought few plain tees for himself and i bought nothing. My boyfriend is the hardest to go out shopping with. He hates dislikes what i wear most of the time. You would think that being together for 7 years is enough to understand your partner, i have to disagree. After watching Chuck got shot, i realized that i couldn't ring my boyfriend to tell him why i was sad because hes got no clue about Gossip Girl and i dont think he knows who Chuck Bass is.

And yesterday when he came to fetch me, the first question i asked him was ...

Me: Do you have any idea what my favourite tv show is?
Him: Mmmmm i dont know? How would i know?
Me: How can you not know!? Anyone who knows me knows that i am crazy about that tv show! I always go on and on about that show! Remember my mocktail party theme? The one at QE 2?
Him: *silent treatment*
Me: Well?
Him: Ohh i know now, Spa Q!
Me: *smacks own head*

Please tell me how embarrassing that is, sighhh.

But even with all that bimboness in him, i still love him to bits. I wouldn't trade him for anyone in this world. Not even Chuck Bass ( ...yes i am biting my lips while typing this out).

"Beautiful girls boys all over the world, i could be chasing but my time would be wasted, they got nothin' on you babyyy, nothin' on you babyyyy, they might say hi and i might say hey but you shouldn't worry about what they say cause they got nothin' on you babyyy, nothin' on you babyyyyyyyyyyyyy."

Sacrifice

I found this and i want to share this with all of you ...

The Law of Sacrifice

The law of sacrifice teaches that for you to get something new you will always have to give something away. It is better to willingly give first to receive what you wish than to lose something you did not expect.

Lets say you start a new relationship with someone. You now have something extra in your life - a partner.

The law of sacrifice always works so you have to lose something because you gained something new. Therefore you lose the status of being single. No matter what new you gain or what you lose, these things always have negative and positive sides. By being single you had more freedom, you could do whatever you liked without having to compromise. However you felt lonely and wanted love.

By being in a relationship you feel loved and you are with someone, but you miss times when you did not have to compromise with anyone and were completely free.

Another example could be about wealth. If you know the law of sacrifice, you may consciously decide to give something away for you to receive wealth. That would be the best option because you will consciously choose what to give away. So you may give your time, effort, passion and value creation for you to receive wealth in return.

If you want to become wealthy and try to take shortcuts to receive it, even if you become wealthy, you will suffer consequences. Because you disobeyed the law of sacrifice and you receive something without proper pay for it, it means that you accumulated debt for for the universe.

Debts always have to be repaid, it cannot happen any other way. So after some time you will repay such debt by understand that wealth was not something you really wanted, it did not fulfill you or you may lose wealth because you did not put proper foundation for it.

You may also spoil yourself with such wealth. In general, if you try to make money without putting any effort, your wealth will be temporary and you will be much more unhappy than you have ever been.

People mostly disobey the law of sacrifice because media confuses them about the workings of universal laws. What is shown on TV is far from truth, or half of the truth. For example, if they show that the person suddenly became very rich they fail to mention years spent working to get to such stage. On when a person won a lottery they fail to mention what happened to him/her after that. Such so called news confuse people and make them believe that money can be acquired only by luck. This makes them depressed and they start complaining how unfair life is.

As soon as you accept that you are 100% responsible for everything in your life, you will become free and your willpower will strengthen. You will realise that you are completely responsible for your experiences and that you have the power to change every aspect of your life.

When such understanding comes, you will find enough strength to take necessary actions and spend required time for you to achieve your goals.

Conclusion

The law of sacrifice is a universal law therefore it always works. To obey this law means to be aware that in order to receive something new one must give something away.

If you consciously choose to give something away before getting something new, you will avoid owning to the universe therefore your newly acquired possession will stay with you for a long time.
