Wishing For Better Days

I am supposed to go to Koh Lipe this Friday. Everything is paid. Flight tickets and rooms. But somehow i dont feel like going. Lately ni its always raining. Do you think its the same in Koh Lipe? And i dont know if its safe going there right now what with the tsunami and quake etc ...

This week is sort-of my 'holiday' week. I have nothing much to do right now. Because im waiting for the graphic boy and the website designer to get back to me. I hope soon. Not enjoying holiday at all. Because theres nothing much to do except sleep, sleeeeep and more sleeeeeeeep. How not to when its so cold outside? Its perfect weather to sleep.

But i think next week is going to be hectic. So i guess i have to enjoy my day off while i can. Im dying to get a haircut, a pedicure manicure, a facial and a spa session oh God pleaseee, and i've been wanting to pay a visit to my friends to see their newborns. And i reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally want to go to KL next week for Lat's Kampong Boy The Musical. Im dragging all of my girlfriends along. Sorry girls!

Oh, and just a reminder, Earth Hour is this week people! Its this Saturday 26th. You know what to do right? And please please please make lots of doa to the poor people in Japan and Libya because while we're laughing, lounging around a lot of lives there are at risk.

My heart is with the cities in Libya. May Allah protect them and prayers to all the soldiers and rebels fighting their hardest for a democracy in Libya. And also to the 50 workers staying behind to handle the Fukushima disaster. They are heroes to Japan and to the world.

The world is a beautiful place. We are the ones ruining its beauty. Its a sad thing.

Railay, I Miss You!

I miss Krabi ...

Honestly i dont mind staying there for the rest of my life. Especially if its in Railay. In our awesome two-bedrooms villa to be precise. The villa is just so perfect. The wonderful people, the amazing place, the cheap but delicious dishes, the excellent view ... I can go on and on about this. Its just too perfect!

Please people if you're going away for your honeymoon, look no further ... this is the place to be! And i am definitely coming back to this place for my honeymoon trip! Errrr, not that im going to be married soon but yes, i'll come back to this place. The honeymoon part is just an excuse, ha ha!

PS: Koh Lipe, please be nice to me! Hope you'll be just like Krabi

Kraaaaaabi Trip!

Sawadikappp! Sorry for being MIA. Internet was down but i am back on track now people!

I went to Krabi earlier this month with six of my friends. Two boys (our drivers slash bodyguards slash awesome not-gay boys lol) and five of us girls. Trip ni tak plan lama pun like i usually do whenever im going somewhere. We were having our seafood supper dekat Jalan Alor that night then suddenly all of us was like "Eh jom p a vacation somewhere bla bla ...", then two weeks after that terus p Krabi.

We went by F's Alphard which is very nice of him nak drive all the way there, but with S' help too of course. We were on the road for 8 hours. Letih but satu pengalaman yang tak dapat dilupakan. The locals 90% naik motorcycle tak pakai helmet. Naik pulak satu motorcycle 3 orang. Memang berani. Kami cari jalan malam malam buta berbekalkan map pekak haha and luckily we managed to find our beautiful hotel in Ao Nang that is The Cliff. But sebelum sampai tu we asked help from the locals. Local #1 tak nak ambil duit yang kami bagi pun but we really forced him to take it. The locals memang baik baik and friendly. Locals #2 (sorang perempuan, seorang lagi perempuan jadian or as they call it there 'ladyboy', dan sorang lagi baru ala ala nak jadi 'ladyboy'. The locals there tak boleh cakap English so kena lah pandai pandai hentam bahasa bagi depa paham. Ladyboy #1, her/his name was Mona, sempat lagi hit on F and bagi no phone hahaha siap ajak kami lepak dekat this bar/club yang dia selalu lepak with her/his friends. But we didnt go lah sebab after check-out we went straight to Railay.

Railay memang satu island yang cantik sangaaaaaaaat and sangat sangat romantik! If ada sapa sapa yang finding a place to go for a honeymoon trip, please go to Railay and stay at our resort. Its the best! We stayed at the two bedrooms private villa. Ada own pool and jacuzzi. Duduk situ memang tak perlu nak keluar mana sebab the room itself ada semua benda. Bukak lah lagu sampai pecah speaker pun i dont think people will come to bother you. After midnight semua lepak dekat dalam pool and we played games. It was fun. Im starting to miss the trip and the crazy bunch, sighhhh. Sebab that day sampai dah lambat, we didnt do any activities pun. Lepak dekat bilik lepas tu pergi dinner. Seafood dinner. Sedappp! But from what i see kan, dekat sana halal food is kinda pricey. So dari mengelakkan kena tipu, better ask or check-out the price first. That night we played 'Truth or Dare'. Haha man it was a scary game i tell you. Too much infooooo we all got haha thanks to the game!

The next day we went snorkeling! My first time. I was scareddddddd. But the boys was with us all the time so tak lah takut sangat. We passed by Poda Island or Chicken Island sebab pulau tu bentuk macam kepala ayam hehe then we went to the beautiful Maya Bay. The place where the movie The Beach was shot at. It was beautifuuuuuuuuuul. Air crystal clear color biru okay? And you can see the fishes and corals all around you. Then we went to few places i cant remember ... hidden lagoon dengan apatah lagi. Hidden lagoon pun sangat cantik. Pendek kata, semua lah cantik dekat sana.

Had lunch at Phi Phi Island. Out boatman was very friendly and nice. Bila approaching Phi Phi Island dia cerita yang the island tu is his home and he lost his family, he lost everything masa tsunami. Kesian dekat dia. Oh before sampai Phi Phi Island, kaki Selina kena corals sampai berdarah teruk so we went to the hospital which tak nampak langsung like a hospital, more like a clinic dekat the island. Had lunch, mine wasnt good. Bought few souvenirs for the ones back at home.

After Phi Phi we went back to our hotel. Mandi mandi then get ready for dinner. The first night at Railay we didnt get to check-out the island so on the second night we went. Turned out lagi banyak restaurants, resorts etc and it was so lively there. We ate dinner at this restaurant yang at the end sekali. Service was reaaaaaaaaaaaaaal slow but the food was great so it made up for the tortoise service. The live band was good too. Definitely going back there again whenever im in Railay. After dinner us girls went for our massage and manicure/pedicure session. Wani, Selina and i did the coconut oil massage. It was so goooooooooooooood and our body smelled so delicious lepas tu. Ida and Intan did the traditional Thai massage. And we did our nails too. We were excited sebab manicure/pedicure only RM20 sebab tu nak buat tengok tengok you know why it was so cheap? They didnt even scrub apa apa, tak rendam kaki apa pun, tak buff the nails pun! They shaped it lepas tu color terus. Color pulak cheap ass nail polish but we didnt mind. It Krabi, not London. Takkan nak expect nail polish from O.P.I kan?

Then balik to our room kemas kemas barang and tengok dvd. Lepas tu pukul 1am lapar gila so i bugged Saiful, Firdaus and Wani suruh temankan beli makanan so we went back near the restaurant we went earlier. Everything was closed so we settled for burger je and two Pink Ladys. Sedaaaaaaap!

On our last day, Firdaus went on the boat alone to check-out his car. He was worried sebab tinggal dekat Ao Nang for 2 days. We went later after. Sempat lagi beli rotee pisang sebelum balik. Rotee pisang sedap sangat. Rinduuu rotee pisang. I had 7 rotee when i was there okay. You must try it. It is to die for!

Sampai dekat Ao Nang, we bought more souvenirs. Wani and Intan bought paintings. Cantik sangat and it was freakin' cheap! Ida told me pernah nampak something like that dekat Ikea for almost RM600. Lepas tu terus balik. Time balik tu semua lapar gila. Bila dah keluar Krabi susah nak cari kedai makan yang halal. Jauh jugak before we found one. Dekat kedai tu jumpa botol Fanta yang kaca haha semua terus jadi jakun! I wanted to bring back 10 bottles tapi tak boleh sebab they must return it back to the factory. Gila classic botol kaca! I wonder if Malaysia still has it.

Makanan dekat situ sedaaaap. Especially the ayam percik. We had alot for lunch! Time nak balik tu, nampak coconut sweets dekat counter tu lepas tu nak beli lah and masyaallah susah sangat nak make the locals to understand what we wanted. We wanted to get 3 but they only had 2 on the counter. 30 minit jugak lah berdebat dekat situ sampai fed-up pun ada but we didnt give up! Sampai terpaksa gunakan pinggan tunjuk. Contohnya; pinggan #1 + pinggan #2 = pinggan #3. Ya Allah memang the locals tak paham langsung English or Malay. When they finally know apa yang kami nak and went to get it, me and my friends high-fives each other crazily and jumped with joy hahaha we made a scene there! The customers ... locals too recorded us using the phones and laughed together with us. It was an unforgettable experience!

I miss Krabi a lot and i reaaaaaaaaaaaaally want to go back there again soon! But this time nak naik scooter dengan elephant there! Tak sempat buat during this trip sebab we were only there for four days. Banyak masa habis dekat atas jalan. But overall it was a great trip with a reaaaally great company! Many thanks to Firdaus sebab without him i dont think this trip jadi.

Insyaallah end of next month we're going to Perhentian Island or to Sabah, but without the boys. Sebab we heard the corals there lagi cantik dari dekat Krabi. We'll see about that. Watch this space! ;)

This year might just be one of the bestest and the 'scariest' Eid in my 24 years of living. HAHAHA! I wont tell whats so scary about it, but i have a mental image that i desperately want to get it out from my head pronto! Its that scary to me.

But what made my Eid Mubarak this year was seeing my Malaysian Maverick live in person! Seeing Tun Mahathir in person is hands down, one of the most memorable moment in my life! *slaps head for not taking any photos*

I went to KL last Tuesday with bff and i just got back. Stayed at Seri Pacific the first day then moved to Impiana KLCC the next day. Wanted to stay at one of the hotels near Changkat but everything was fully booked. I had a pleasant stay at the Impiana with bff. The breakfast, the service, the room and the pillow menu! Hehe the pillow menu yes how can one forget about the many many pillows that you can choose from to sleep comfortably! Cool, no? :)

I'll upload the photos later. Thanks to the great company i had in KL. You guys made our stay there a pleasant one. See you guys real soon!

War Museum

War Museum photos people hihihi sikit only photos taken by my not so good handphone. This place is quite fun, if you're the adventurous type that is. And a little walk down the memory lane for some history learning, i am all up for it. I went with S only, just the two of us. The entry fee is RM30 for adults from morning till 7pm. Lepas 7pm, the night tour is at RM40 ke RM50 im not sure. But let me tell you this, i dont think its a good idea for you guys to go for the night tour. Going there around 6pm is already so creepy hehe there are tunnels everywhere and its easier to walk if you're in your work-out attire but since this was an impromptu go, we were of course in our trusty jeans and slippers.

I would love to go back there again and go inside the tunnels and everything. To those who has a thing for paintball, you can play it here too. The place is open everyday including public holidays and its in Batu Maung, Penang. You can see the canon firing bays, the cook houses, wells, sleeping quarters and etc. Its advisable to bring your mosquito repellent along and lots of ice cold water to drink because trust me its one hell of a tiring tour. But okay jugak lah can lose weight what? So stop complaining now, thats a two in one package aint it?

Okay enough babbling on to the photos ...

Me and my senget tudung all the time, sighhh

Ada lagi more photos nanti lah will upload 'em okay. I know i havent been blogging. Nothing to write hehe sorry darlings. Insyaallah will try my best to update this blog from time to time okay.

Home Is Where The Heart Is

4 days in KL now i am back home! Home is where the heart is aint it? In that case i have 3 homes; firstly, any Chanel boutique in the world and second and lastly, anywhere Peaches and E is, i am home.

KL Day 1

Arrived around 8ish pm. My girlfriends brought me to Andalus, which is an Arabian/Lebanese restaurant for dinner. I saw a friend there who did not recognize me at all because i was in my hijab and i kept on staring at him LOL until he gave me a smile and commented on my FB the next day. Thank you for that, you're funny R. After that Bistari for supper. I had to have my double shot Indomee and being the greedy person that i am, i tapau-ed another shot to makan a home. Bistari's Indomee is the best, period! And also the ABC perghh sedapp. Im salivating while typing this out.

KL Day 2

As usual bangun around noon, keluar petang. Went to Ikea with my friends to meet up with my sister because she wanted to borrow my Stephen Sprouse Speedy to pakai on her birthday lunch on Saturday. L came, surprisingly eventhough he was tired. Lepak-ed with Intan, Ida, Ilah, Anna and her friends and Mas. She announced that she's getting engaged next month. I am so happy for her. Congrats darling! Now i have to find a white kurung/kebaya for your event ... BTW say hello to my new friend, the Daim cake!

After that, i had drinks with Alwi and Safura and this beautiful restaurant in The Curve. No photos taken, stupid i forgot to take photos. Too busy catching up with the three of them (L included). I have not seen Alwi for almost 3 years. He's still the same. Muka tak berubah langsung. Lepas tu went for Robin Hood at 10pm. Finally dapat tengok jugak Robin Hood after menangis merajuk tak dapat tengok ada jugak hamba Allah yang baik hati nak teman me, to this person, thanks a million.

KL Day 3

Cant recall what i did except for my late lunch i went to Pelita in Bangsar and bumped into KK whom i have not seen for 2-3 years! Is it just me or is KL getting smaller? P KL pun jumpa orang Penang kan. Dropped by at Mimpikita to take my baju. The bajus there, especially their traditional wear so cantik okay and the price is affordable. Less than RM1000. You can get a beautiful dress for RM350. Ada yang readywear and ada yang made to order. For dinner i went to Republic in Sunway Pyramid with my girlfriends and Didi came with Wanda to join us. Goshhhhhh it has been awhile since our goss session! We had fun chit-chatting and the creme brulee there was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. I cant wait to go back there again! We had nachos with dips as well but it wasnt as good as the creme brulee, sighh. Lepas tu supper kat where else but Bistari. Stuffed myself silly with the Indomee double shot and went home a happy girl.

Dips was too cheesey, ughhh

The heavenly creme bruleeeeeeeeeee!

KL Day 4

Balik kampung tanam jagung. Thanks to Pelita i had food poisoning, cirit birit all the way from KL to Penang! I am never eating there ever again. Rasa macam nak pengsan keluar masuk toilet, ughhh!

I really dont feel like going anymore.

I should start focusing on more important things than going for a holiday. The excitement is no longer there. I dont feel like going anywhere. I dont feel like talking to anyone. I can always go anytime. There's October ... or any month after the 'green season'.

Makan. Makan. Makann.

Went out with my mom yesterday to renew my passport for my upcoming Hatyai & Krabi trip. Im really excited to go on these trip esp. Krabi but at the same time im worried about my hamsters. Will they be okay if i leave them for 5 days? My mom la punya pasal ni, p tanya pulak like this now hilang all the excitement .... Haih.

Went to Feringghi with Anna and Sazzy around 9ish to check-out about the transportation to Krabi. I think i kinda prefer the company in Chulia Street more than this Feringghi one. Idk why. Then went for our dinner because the three of us were starving mad. Had Kompo fish which is ikan masak with dried chilli and gajus kot, i think. And another two dish was sotong goreng tepung and kangkung goreng belacan. Food was good. But the Kompo fish wasn't as good as when Anna and I had it for the first time.

I slept at Anna's last night, usung si Jedi sekali and godknows what other things that made my bag so heavy macam nak stay over for a week. Our plan was to go jogging lah petang tadi, but hujan pulak so tak sempat nak jog today and tak sempat nak rasmi my kasut. Poor thing tersadai dalam kotak for months dah. Being the mengada girlfriend that i am, i asked Ezar if his mom rajin to cook me my favourite sambal udang for today and of course lah boleh! So after Subuh he went to the market and bought RM30 worth of prawns. Went to his house after Maghrib for dinner. As usual my FMIL's cooking memang tak pernah menghampakan. Zara had fun playing with Jedi. And i had a huge smile plastered on my face when im done because the food was good. Dah lah lunch Anna's mom made nasi lauk yang sedap, dinner pun sedap. Gemok lah camni. Ada hati nak p jog konon. Macam lah nak jog everyday!

After dinner, sembang sembang the girls came to pick me up around 11pm and we went to see Alice In Wonderful. The movie was okay lah. I prefer the old version though. I had it when they try to remake any of the old cartoons, movies and shit. Buat rosak filem je.

4.36am and im still awake. Dok window online-shopping. Is it too early to buy clothes for Krabi? The trip is almost 2 months away. Whaddaya say?
