A Quest For A White Outfit

A friend is getting engaged end of this month. And shes hoping for all of her girlfriends to wear white. I dont have anything in white. Tak pernah terfikir pun nak beli a white baju kurung, or kebaya or any other traditional wear lah sebab putih kan bagi ilusi gemok hehe whichever girl in her right mind wants to look extra fat kan? Dah cukup dah lemak kat badan so tak perlu any extra fat illusion, sighhhh.

So sekarang tengah survey / online window shopping nak cari kaftan or jubah tapi masih belum jumpa. I stumbled across Kalerful Kaiyen's website and found few sequinned kaftans yang masyaAllah sangat cantik but sadly its all sold out. Hampa dan pilu.

Since cari here and there tak jumpa, i thought nak buat a white kebaya top since i have two new sarong batik yang i belum pakai. Ataupun i ingat nak buat a white baju kurung kedah top since i've a beautiful black songket lying around the house desperately shouting "Melissaaaaaa bila hang nak pakai aku!". LOL.

Sesuai ke pakai tudung with kebaya? Rasa macam awkward sebab tak pernah pakai (with tudung that is, duh!). Silly me. And also dalam otak i ni ada illusion perempuan pakai kebaya ketat punggung terbojol (hint; Jamu Mak Dara) hehe tak appropriate kan kalau pakai dengan tudung? And yes, i do tend to over think and over analyze every single detail.

I know E hates me wearing baju that doesnt cover my bum. And i dont think a long kebaya will look good on me since i am short. So kalau nak buat harus lah kebaya pendek. Kalau baju kurung kedah pun obviously its pendek kan? I dont think it'll cover the bum. Macamanaaaaaaaaaaa ni?

I dont have anything to wear, sighhhh.
